Personally, I am extremely offended by all the people comparing Governor Jan Brewer (and Arizona) to Nazis and parading the swastika around. And I'm not even Jewish. How dare--HOW DARE anyone compare what happened in Arizona to the atrocities the Jewish people suffered at the hands of the Nazis. They were forced from their homes (their legal homes), forced to concentration camps where they were beaten, raped, starved, burned, stripped of every shred of human dignity and decency, gassed, and murdered. Let's please not forget history and what it means to us today. Also, let's not forget the people who suffered so much to come to America in the past because they knew despite their suffering, despite the harshness of the new life that awaited them, it was all worth it because America was the greatest land on earth, a land of liberty and freedom, a better place than where they'd come from. They didn't expect to come here without having to work hard for it. And work hard, they did. And they did it proudly, too.
I know for those idiots with swastikas out there, they are excercising their free speech. Right now, I am excercising my right to free speech to tell them that they need to take a look at the history books and learn something from them. And to say that I am proud of America--or at least I was proud of the America we had before it was taken over by a Godless communist who hates that America and wants to transform into something that is nothing like the promised land of freedom and liberty it was meant to be. Please--PLEASE let's stand back up for what America is supposed to be.

Nothing can be compared to what the Nazis did to the Jews.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely right, Cori. Thanks for saying so.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Tacy. These liberal progressives are such hypocrites! I say once again that I tip my hat to Arizona!
ReplyDeleteGood old Arizona.
ReplyDeleteI miss that place. They are taking it a lot further too (I heard on ktar.com that they are going to not allow teachers with strong accents to teach). They are also toning their law down a bit (more specific language saying that the police need to be accountable for requiring proof of citizenship). They are trying to solve their problems.
What I wonder is if anyone else in the political world will support them, follow them, or even not criticize them. Will Arizona be alone?
